Results of the A Better Maryland Survey

Marylanders Weigh In Digitally

The Maryland Department of Planning (Planning) conducted polling for A Better Maryland, the new state development plan, from November 2017 to early June 2018. The responses were collected through an online survey and via live polling at our 24 public listening sessions. Below are the questions that were asked and charts that reflect the responses. Click on any chart for an enlarged view.

The responses below represent the opinions of those who participated in these surveys and, with the comments we received, will be used as input in developing A Better Maryland. These comments do not represent any official position or policy of Planning or any other State agency.

If you would like to submit your own comments, please direct them in writing to Chuck Boyd at chuck.boyd@maryland.gov.
